“I partner with patients to help them reach their ultimate health goals! The most important job of a physician is to listen and understand the concerns of his or her patient, and I employ the principles of lifestyle medicine in my treatment approach. I understand that achieving great health is more than simply taking medications, but also involves working on healthy behaviors.”

Reviews from Our Patients
I love Dr. Cooke because she takes the time to listen. She's not like most doctors who are in a rush to get You out of their office. She's genuinely a nice person and a GREAT Dr.

This woman is absolutely amazing. I have always been able to talk to Dr. Michelle Cooke and get my problems resolved. I’m a tough patient that have many concerns about any small pain, a bruise, or anything that’s not normal with my body. She listens to every single detail, addresses every concern I may have, always educate me, and take care of my concerns immediately. She’s responsive to every email and I absolutely adore her because she’s really concerned about her patients. Coming to her practice is like dealing with trusted family. Would not consider changing doctors ever. I highly recommend her as a primary physician. You will not be disappointed.

FAQs
What is the Benefit of a Direct Primary Care (DPC) Membership?
Your Direct Primary Care membership allows you to have an optimal primary care experience. DPC doctors keep their membership panels smaller than traditional primary care practices. This means it is easier to get an appointment and your doctor has more time to focus on your needs. Your membership fee covers a wealth of primary care services so you never pay a co-pay, no matter how many visits you need. In DPC, we can also be more flexible about our care model. Sometimes, you may just have a small concern or question that doesn’t need an office visit. In these instances, you can reach your doctor by phone, text or email!
Do You Accept Any Insurance Plans?
In Direct Primary Care, we do not accept insurance for our services. This means, you can join the practice no matter what your insurance plan is and you’ll never have to worry about whether your primary doctor is in the network. Your DPC membership will compliment your insurance plan and allow you to get the greatest value out of your health care dollars.
Do I need insurance if I have a Direct Primary Care membership?
While you are not required to have an insurance plan with a Direct Primary Care membership, we highly recommend that you maintain medical insurance. Direct Primary Care can address up to 90% of your medical needs, but a DPC membership does not cover the cost of specialists, hospitalizations, emergency room and urgent care visits. Unexpected health emergencies, such as the need for surgery, can happen to anyone, and we recommend that you have coverage for these catastrophic events.

Can I pay per visit rather than get a membership?
We do not offer a pay-per-visit service. We believe that the greatest strength in primary care is the ongoing doctor-patient relationship. Having a membership ensures a commitment to that relationship.
