Meet Dr. Michelle Cooke
Born in Boston and proud to call Atlanta home for more than 20 years, Dr. Michelle Cooke has dedicated her career to uplifting and transforming Black women’s health. A Spelman woman and Morehouse-trained physician, she was shaped by institutions committed to excellence and equity. Her training instilled a deep commitment to “serve the underserved,” a calling she continues to honor through her work at Sol Direct Primary Care.
Dr. Cooke is known for being a fierce advocate for Black women—listening deeply, understanding their lived experiences, and delivering care that is both compassionate and evidence-based. Her holistic approach blends modern medicine with lifestyle interventions, helping women achieve their best health with the least medication necessary and the highest quality of care.

Bree Love-Williams
Our Office Manager, Bree, was born in Jacksonville, Florida, but grew up as a true Georgia Peach in Alpharetta, GA. A self-proclaimed "waterfall-chaser," Bree loves traveling and seeking adventures with her husband and friends. When she's not working at Sol, Bree helps couples fall in love as a wedding planner. For Bree, staying healthy means finding peace and gratitude in her favorite pastimes: baking, reading, and relaxing on the porch
Medical Assistant
Toya C.
With over 20 years of experience in patient care, Toya brings a wealth of expertise to Sol. While she is a certified phlebotomist on paper, her true role extends far beyond that. As a dedicated medical assistant, Toya takes immense joy in advocating for patients and ensuring they feel calm and cared for, even in stressful situations. To maintain her own health, Toya enjoys brisk walks and centering herself with yoga.
Virtual Assistant
Lia L.
Though you may not see her in person, you'll certainly speak with Lia on the phone! Lia is our exceptional virtual assistant based in the Philippines. She provides vital support to our front office by answering calls, scheduling appointments, and ensuring you have everything you need to achieve your healthiest self.
