Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: July 8, 2026  ·  Last Updated: July 8, 2026

Thank you for visiting sol-dpc.org and engaging with Sol Direct Primary Care & MedSpa. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, patient portal, and services. By accessing our site or Services, you agree to the terms below.

About Our Services

Sol DPC is a membership-based direct primary care practice offering primary care, preventive medicine, and aesthetic and hair rejuvenation services, with a focus on women's health in the Atlanta area. Our Services include:

  • Direct primary care membership (Sol Complete and Sol Elite tiers)
  • Aesthetic medicine services, including laser hair removal, skincare, and microneedling
  • Hair rejuvenation services, including trichoscopic consultation
  • Educational content related to women's health, menopause, and hair wellness
  • Retail products, including the Xtresse hair wellness product line
Membership is not insurance. Sol DPC membership provides direct access to primary care for a monthly fee and does not cover hospitalization, specialist care, emergency services, medications, or lab work outside the scope of your membership agreement. We recommend maintaining separate health insurance or catastrophic coverage.

Enrollment in a membership tier is governed by your signed Member Agreement, which sets out visit allowances, included lab panels, pricing, the minimum commitment period, and cancellation terms. Where these Terms and your Member Agreement conflict on matters specific to your care and membership, the Member Agreement controls.

Medical Disclaimer

The Site and any general health content we publish — including blog posts, social media content, podcast episodes, and materials related to our book, What No One Told Us: The Black Woman's Guide to Menopause — are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Nothing on the Site establishes a physician-patient relationship. That relationship begins only once you've completed enrollment, intake, and applicable consent documentation as a member of the practice.

In an emergency, call 911. Please do not use the Site, patient portal, email, or SMS messaging to communicate urgent or emergency medical concerns.

Patient Portal & Telehealth

Access to our patient portal (currently hosted at sol-dpc-portal.md-hq.com) is subject to separate registration terms and any applicable consents you sign at intake, including consent related to the use of AI-assisted documentation (scribe) tools during visits. Use of any telehealth services we offer is subject to your informed consent to telehealth, provided separately at the time such services are offered.

SMS & Email Communications

By providing your phone number or email address to Sol DPC, you consent to receive communications related to:

  • Appointment reminders and scheduling
  • Membership and billing notifications
  • Practice updates and educational content
  • Promotional messages about services, products, or events (if you've opted in)

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP, and opt back in by re-enrolling through our intake forms or replying START where available. Opting out of marketing messages won't affect appointment-related or account communications necessary for your care. Mobile carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS consent is never a condition of purchasing any service.

Your privacy matters to us. Any collection, use, or disclosure of your protected health information (PHI) is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable law, including HIPAA, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. General, non-clinical information you submit through Site contact forms is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to use the Site for any of the following:

  • Any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulation
  • Transmitting viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Harassing, threatening, or impersonating others
  • Attempting to access another patient's records or account without authorization
  • Scraping, reverse-engineering, or interfering with the normal operation of the Site
  • Submitting false information through intake, contact, or membership forms

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, photos, logos, the Sol DPC name and branding, and content related to the Xtresse product line and What No One Told Us — is owned by Sol DPC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content, or use our name, logos, or trademarks, without our prior written permission.

External Links

The Site may link to third-party websites, such as our patient portal, scheduling platform, or payment processor. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these external sites. Use of any linked site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its general content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This limitation does not apply to the professional standard of care owed to you as a patient in connection with actual clinical services you receive from Sol DPC, which is governed separately by applicable medical malpractice and healthcare law, not by this website disclaimer.

To the extent permitted by law, Sol DPC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or its general informational content. Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under Georgia law with respect to healthcare services actually provided to you as a patient.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Sol DPC and its owners, employees, and contractors harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site, excluding any claims related to the clinical care you received as a patient.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or patient portal at any time for violation of these Terms. Termination of Site access does not affect the terms of your separate Member Agreement, which governs how your care relationship and membership may be ended.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia.
